Description

Available in a very small size (1.45"x2.28"x0.5"), UFM500 and UFM1K autoranging Universal Front-end Module can provide 500W and 1000W output, respectively, for an input of 90 to 132VAC. For 180 to 265 VAC input, the output power increases to 750W and 1500W, respectively. The output of the UFM can interface with most industry standard 300V input DC-to-DC converters.

Both models UFM500 and UFM1K are available in option "P" and option "V," depending on which DC-to-DC converter is being used. The Ordering Information shows how to select the appropriate option.

The UFM module contains the complete front-end of an off-line switching power supply. The only external components needed are a filter, an input fuse, transient protection and appropriate hold-up capacitors.
